Meet Catherine — Catherine Doocey is a Registered Psychologist and the founder of Border Leadership, a consultancy dedicated to helping regional organisations tackle complex people challenges by unlocking the talent they have and building the leadership they need — locally.

With more than 20 years’ experience in organisational psychology and leadership development, Catherine works with businesses, government and community organisations across the Border region to enhance leadership capability, develop high-performing teams, and design evidence-based programs that drive real results.

Catherine holds a Master of Organisational Psychology from Monash University and brings a wealth of experience gained both nationally and internationally. She has led major organisational development projects, delivered thousands of hours of facilitation and learning design, and coached leaders across all levels — from emerging talent to executive teams.

Known for her warm and personable approach, Catherine combines rigour with empathy, helping individuals and organisations build confidence, clarity and capability. Her work through Border Leadership is grounded in evidence, guided by experience, and driven by a belief that great leadership builds great communities.
